Some new guys... http://www.news-leader.com/article/...baseball-signs-3--including-Kickham-s-brother “We have to get physical positionally and we did that with the position guys we signed,” MSU coach Keith Guttin said. “That’s what we need.”
Really like the transition to more juco position players. You would expect more power numbers (2 Hrs each) from both of those players with that kind of size. I can't find any numbers for Hardy from his Fr year at crowder. Makes me think he transferred from somewhere.
I heard that we offered last week, but didn't want to post until it was official, but Seth Conner from Rogersville is signing with the Bears on Friday. Personally, I think he's better than Drake on defense and he's a very good hitter as well.
another great get. good size too. We have yet to sign any position players under 6-0 tall for next year. will play for Nationals Blue with Drake this summer. Love the size we are bringing in.
http://www.news-leader.com/article/...SPORTS/Blue-Eye-s-Campbell-puts-on-power-show Rogersville High School senior Seth Conner will sign Friday to play baseball at Missouri State. Conner, a shortstop, is hitting .565 with nine home runs this season for the Wildcats (14-2). "He's always worked hard, but between his junior and senior year it was just like everything clicked," Rogersville coach Brad Lotz said. "He just has a crazy work ethic. All he does is hits and lifts, hits and lifts."

Seth is a really good kid too, so that's always a plus. He might end up at 3B when it's said and done.
+3, he's a 3B'man (which we need). We've had a lot of team defections, and these guys will help fill the voids. It's good to see the coaches admit we need more size. I'd like to see us land one marquee hitter to bring it all together (and then hope they make it through the draft).

I found 4 boxscores on Ryan Hafner he went 2-0 and hit 2 Hrs in those. Drake hurt his hand but came back quickly. For the record Preston Aldridge finished at .329 10 HRs 0 errors and 2 OF assists
Fwiw, the guy on sports reporters expected Seth Cooper to sign pro. However, I used to coach with the Rogersville legion team, and his father values education highly, and I've heard he would need to be drafted pretty highly to forego college.
