Who is our pitching recruit with the best chance of helping next year? We are already losing several pitchers, and though I'm not expecting Meade to leave, man if he did we would need some immediate help. I'd imagine we'd go JUCO at that point for a few, but of the signed guys, who do you like to help the most immediately?
I don't think Meade is eligible for the draft. he didn't RS so he would have to wait after his jr year and he is just a soph. Johnson, Petree, Gordon, and Murphy are all dominating shut-down pitchers. I haven't seen Barber mentioned that much this season.
Meade is 21, and appears to be eligible for the draft this year. He at least thinks he's eligible for it. I doubt he goes though... Whom would you compare these recruits to? Have you seen any of them live?
