If the Baton Rouge police had picked up Les Miles, they would simply have taken him home and no one would have been the wiser. Same with Nick Saben under similar circumstances. Those are the folks Mizzou wants to be with. As it is, I think that they did the right thing suspending him and fining the hell out of him. I know that in this area losing $300 grand is no big deal, but I am sure that it got Mr. Pinkel's attention.
You can take their scholarship, and send them back to the hood to be shot like the rest of their homies. For those that don't get the reference, Mark Mangino at KU told a kid this just weeks after one of his best friends was killed.
Tweeting something that can harm the individual, program, or University should be monitored to some degree IMO.
Yep...I cringed when I saw one of our receivers drop the f bomb on fans via twitter. I think banning it for all players was over the top especially if you then suck.
At least he came back and apologized...most realize it was heat of the moment but still have to be cautious
