Good sign when the music in the background of his highlights video is the same as last year's intro video?

Can't jump, but man is he skilled for a 6-8 kid. Love how he shoots, can take it off the bounce, has his head up to find open guys and has a pure stroke.

I was watching the video and twice he went off his right shoulder and shot with his right hand and I was putting that as one of the knocks on him (not using left), and all be darned if a minute later you see him twice go to his left hand to finish.

The competition is poor, but I really like this kid. Give him a year to gain weight and strength and he's a player. Take the skilled kid who has a pure shot over the taller stiff without the skills or the type of shot to develop, and can't move.

Let's hope he enjoyed his trip to our arena.

    Offer.

Peyton Henson: He led the Siloam Springs Panthers to a 60-46 win over Cedarville in the finals of the Greenland Invitational tournament. Henson finished with a double-double, including 34 points, which led all scorers, and 13 rebounds. Henson, the Panthers’ 6-foot-8 junior center, has been offered a basketball scholarship by Missouri State.

put him w Tyler and we would have a solid class!

Solid shooting touch. A little worried about if he has to go up against quicker/more athletic big men. Overall, you have to like a kid that size that can stretch the floor. I am hoping he can be a great low post defender/rebounder and bring some toughness inside.

Glad to see us offer. Henson is my guy for the '13 class. He does things that are hard to teach.

Fits what we do very well.

Agree, seems to be a food systematic fit for us.

He is a 6-8 Nathan Scheer or Ryan Jehle.

Don't make me post a vid of McDermott in HS he plays polar opposite that of Henson. We do not have system get shooters open they have to create off the dribble and attack.

A 6'8" Nathan Scheer is a bad thing? Also, it is up to the guards and wing guard types to create.
  14. 13black Bearus Maximus

Then what is the role of our 4's. Because they don't do much posting up.

Kyle shoots a lot of threes plus at 6'8" he can play some 5...also he is just a junior in high school so we are talking about 2 yrs away. I like guys with high IQ who can put the ball in the basket...we will have plenty of athletes with 13 ships.
  16. 13black Bearus Maximus

But Weems can take it to the rack which is why is so open to shoot 3's. If you aren't a threat to drive nobody leave you open and as previously stated our offense doesn't get people open for shots without establishing attacking the rim. (See ORU, UNM, and OSU)

I forgot about this kid, but he must be white since 13 doesn't have anything good to say about him.
  18. Bearvision It Rox to beat the Shox!

I thought about posting the exact same thing.

I like Biz and I like Tanner Williams..we don't have a position for him but he has the athleticism I expect ALL the players that play for the Bears should have. Im not saying anything bad about him I am commenting on the video. Then beeline compared a player who it appears can;t get his hand above the rim to a guy 6-9 with a 38 inch vertical who will throw it down your head in an instant.
  20. Bearvision It Rox to beat the Shox!

It's important to remember he's just a soph in the video, and leaping is something that can be improved quite a bit through training and physical maturation in a kis that age.

He'll never be an athletic specimen, but he has enough athleticism to not only get by, but to excel because of his other talents. Always like to see a guy a full game to get a true feel for what they bring to the table, but from what I've seen, this kid wiill get a few BCS offers before it's all said and done.

Really hope he decides to be a Bear.
