I wonder what GT's numbers would have been if Ellis was not on the team?

To be honest, I watched this and wonder if he stands around because of Ellis or it is his style. Because I was not overly impressed because he did not get after it hard. I looked as though the team just was waiting on Ellis to do something a lot of the times. Gavin played more like a sg position and as an entry passer to Ellis. Did not get a great showing of what Gavin can do from this. Really hoping that he both qualifies and becomes a great player for the Bears.

I was at friday's game vs BVNW. He has a nice outside stroke and handles the ball well for his height. He will have to step it up a notch or four to be ready to play next year especially his defense. Was not agressive at all. Lusk will have to light a fire under him.

It has been said previously that he has been "coasting". Hopefully he can learn to bring it 100% of the time, because the ability and skill is certainly there

Agree that the talent appeared to be there, great skills for his size, but a coaster in a state championship tourney? What does it take to get him fired up? We do not need any more coasters, we need players with a motor.

Has he qualified yet?

There was never an issue of him qualifying. That is not to say he can take the semester off, but he is doing what he needs to do.
